UNTITLED

Not enough energy to come up with a catchy title. 19 Summer of 69's and no sleep have left me 'creative title bankrupt'.

BY DEFINITION

Good thing there is a 7Eleven peppermint mocha ad in there taking the significance away.

UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX

Awesome time!!! One of many beautiful views I had.  Thanks to all that helped to make it memorable!

Just one more post to follow up, probably later tonight so check back.

DUTCHMEN

This band was great!  Fraulein did give me hearing loss in my left ear though!

Check them out, The Swinging Dutchmen

CONCESSIONS

Glad to see the expanded concessions this year. Unlike last year did not have to wait an hour in line to get a beer or a turkey leg.

REV

More of the new concessions, some how I gravitated to the new drinking establishments.  There were food, water closet, and merchandise vendors as well.

TURN 1

Wedged!  You may notice by now these posts are out of order.

VIEW

As an example this was close to the beer garden, so you could run grab a 7.4% Ranger IPA and be back to a good spot relatively quickly.  Relative to what I don't know.

THAT'S IT

Definitely an improvement in concessions this year over last, adding a beer garden with requisite St. Pauli Girls was a good move and this area was packed any time you looked.  Good times were had there with good people!

BIER GARTEN

These guys were a good time in the beer garden.

S/F

S/F for Start/Finish, not Scuderia Ferrari!

SIGNAGE

TURN 19

Originally titled 'Turn 10', this should give you an idea of just how good of a time I was having.  It was taken in Turn 19.

HORSE

GMT MASTER

AMG

FL

Only saw about three motorbikes at the track, maybe they had a different parking area...

VIVA!

Thanks for the $5.00!  Nice guys who helped me when I dropped some cash accidentally!

DEADWOOD

CLASSICS

Too bad it is a bit distant, there was a large fence clearly marked do not enter.  There were a lot of nice cars out for display.  That said there were also a lot of 'barn find' type vehicles along TX 71 route - one caught my eye an old Chevy C10 that I wouldn't mind buying for when I drop off the grid.

MENU

Elevator food.

COTA DUST

I guess this is what I get for forgetting a pair of trainers or hiking boots.
